Four police officers who were arrested for allegedly attempting to rob staff of a foreign exchange bureau in Nairobi have been released unconditionally.
This is after the court was told that there was no evidence to link them with the alleged offence of robbery.
While releasing them, the court also directed that the phones belonging to the officers be released to them.
The four officers; Daniel Wambui, Eliud Kipkurui, Stanley Gitonga and Nicholas Murira were arrested on January 9, 2023, after what police say was a botched robbery mission.
