Job Description

Job Summary/Objective:

  • The Trade Sales Executive (T.S.E) for South Nyanza Territory is responsible for supervising and managing Sales Developers and distributors to drive sales growth and achieve budget targets. This role requires building strong relationships with Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRS) and ensuring successful product launches through effective sales strategies and team management.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Supervise and manage a team of 3 Sales Developers and oversee 7 distributors in the South Nyanza Territory.
  • Conduct regular meetings with Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRS) to build rapport and gain support for KBBL's sales objectives.
  • Engage in data-driven reviews with distributors and DSRS to evaluate performance and adjust sales strategies as necessary.
  • Achieve the annual budgeted sales target for the South Nyanza Territory.
  • Develop and implement tailored sales offers that create competitive advantages.
  • Manage the deployment of point-of-sale materials and promotional displays to enhance product visibility.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales reports to management.
  • Motivate and lead a team of DSRS and Sales Developers, promoting a high-performance culture. Conduct in-house training and practical coaching for DSRS and Sales Developers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure compliance with marketing initiatives and standards.
  • Monitor the successful launch of new products and gather market feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Create eye-catching displays for general trade settings to promote brand visibility.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in FMCG sales distribution to general trade customers.
  • Previous experience in the beverages sector is highly encouraged.
  • Relevant Skills, Experience and Attributes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and build relationships effectively. A valid driving license is required.
